Tower Hall and Village Hall

Rushmere St Andrew, Ipswich, Suffolk

Tower Hall is located on the Bixley Farm Estate on the eastern outskirts of Ipswich, bordering Rushmere Heath. Village Hall is in a more rural setting on the north eastern outskirts of the town.  Parish Halls Rushmere St Andrew is a registered charity and both Tower Hall and  Village Hall are run by a Management Committee on a non-profit making basis for the benefit of the local community.

The halls are modern and well equipped. Each has Wi-Fi and screen and projection facilities. Tower Hall also has an audio unit for use. The kitchens are equipped with ovens, microwaves, fridges, and ample crockery, cutlery and  glassware. Village Hall will seat 80 and Tower Hall 100 for events such as wedding receptions and birthday parties, The halls are also available for regular hire for such activities as exercise classes, arts, crafts and church meetings. The Village Hall has a smaller room suitable for committee meetings, or small groups of 10 to 12 people.

Each hall has an enclosed garden area where supervised children can play. There is also an equipped play area adjacent to Tower Hall which is owned and maintained by the Parish Council.

Both halls are licensed for entertainment, but do not have a performing rights licence. You are free to serve alcohol in the halls as long as it is not actually sold on the premises as we do not have a licence to sell alcohol. Alternatively, if you choose to use a mobile bar service, they can obtain a temporary bar licence and provide this service for you. We do not have a specific bar service which we recommend.
